There are facilities at the campgrounds that offer shower houses and access to firepits for cookouts. Full hook-ups and water are also available. Wanting to spend some time in the water? Campers can access Spearfish Creek right outside of their tents or campers by dipping their toes in the water, “tubing” the Creek or even fly fishing. DC Booth National Historic Fish Hatchery is connected to the campground and promises fun for all ages.

People looking for this type of experience prefer the amenities of home, but still want to enjoy a campfire for some bonding time with friends or family. Some campsites have accessibility to pools and picnic areas for those interested in some outdoor fun. Chris’ Campground has access to two different pools and a pavilion with a grill for those who want to gather to celebrate as a group. As a very bike friendly community, access to major attractions like the Termesphere Gallery and Historic Downtown can be easily accessed.
