The climb to the summit of Crow Peak is a bit demanding, with roughly 1600 feet to climb, but once you arrive at the top, you’ll be glad you did. You can catch your breath on the way down and enjoy the view at the same time.

Diections From Spearfish, take FSR 214 for approximately seven miles to the trailhead. 

This trail is listed as difficult, so bring some water and travel light. With its location near Spearfish, this trail offers view of the distant Terry Peak, Bear Butte and the miles of Ponderosa Pine. 

Views from the top of Crow Peak include the city of Spearfish, Spearfish Valley, and eastern Wyoming.
