Just forty-one years after “The Phantom of The Matthews Opera House” hit the stage, this family-friendly melodrama is finally returning once again this summer. With the joint effort between The Matthews and Black Hills State University, this year’s performances are sure to be a hit!
The debut performances will kickoff July 3 and 5 and will go through August 2. Each performance will run every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now for $12 for adults and $6 for youth (18 and under). Also taking place during the opening week will be “Spearfish Days.” Where any Spearfish resident can pick up one free ticket with a purchase of at least one adult ticket, all you must show is your driver’s license as a proof of residency.
With “The Phantom” being a classic-hit performance, this is a must-see show for the community of Spearfish and any incoming visitors. The show is filled with comedic pieces, music, and audience interaction. Along with these essential components to a play, it also comes with a great selection of talented actors.
Cast members include: Kyle Graves, Matt Adair, Kylie Hall, Jack Hughes, Tarina Nye, Rachel Ridinger, Tyler Scone, J.D. Schroeder, Shonee Singer, Tytus Spivey, and Lanaya Young (as the Card Girl).
So if you and your friends or family are looking for something to do in evening; or you’re looking for a good laugh. Come on down and enjoy an incredible show!
